Cape Coast School Album 1
1940-1970
This album mostly contains formal photographs of classes with the SHCJ nun or Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus who was their teacher. There are other less formal images such as that of a pupil in her biology class and pictures taken of important events such as HHCJ sisters making their final vows.
Images of the Holy Child Training College Takoradi and Fijai
1959 - 1985
This selection of images come from visitation photographs once kept by the SHCJ Generalate in Rome. Images from 1959- 1962 show the both the early days of the teacher training college and the health clinic established in Fijai. Later images show the college in 1985, still flourishing with a large body of students.
